Locum Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist

This is a paediatric cardiology locum post for 12 months to cover maternity leave. Whilst a variety of specialist interests' expertise will be considered, a priority focus is on those with proven expertise in fetal cardiology.

The job role requirements include;

• Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or

• Eligible for specialist registration within approximately 6 months of interview (for example after submission of CESR documentation) or Holder of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or evidence of being within 6 months of award of CCT or equivalent by date of interview

• Evidence of thorough and broad training and experience in paediatric cardiology

• Completion of fellowship(s) in paediatric congenital cardiology

• Knowledge of NHS priorities with reference to specialty and up to date knowledge and experience of relevant specialty

• Knowledge of the principles of clinical audit and evidence of participation, including submission of quality/performance data to national audit programmes
