Would you like the opportunity to deliver excellent diabetes care and influence the quality and development of a growing diabetes service?

The Adult Diabetes Service covers both in- and out-patients and provides clinical, support and education services to patients and to other clinical staff across the four hospitals. The service is part of the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism (OCDEM) which, apart from providing clinical care, is a world-class centre for research.

An opportunity has arisen to join and lead our dynamic and developing Adult Diabetes Service for a fixed term currently of 2.5 years to lead on the transition of young people through the service as part of national pilot project.

The job role requirements include;

  • Experience in diabetes technology, young people and youth work and be able to undertake outreach work whilst leading the project too

  • A high level of diabetes knowledge

  • Proven service development and leadership skills

  • You will need to be a highly motivated individual with a confident and professional attitude

  • You will be committed to delivering evidence-based practice in a multidisciplinary environment
