An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Diabetes Dietitian to join our Diabetes Team to develop our diabetes transition and young adult care service.
The dietitian will be part of the wider diabetes multidisciplinary team with a focus to improve standards of diabetes care especially in the age group of 19 - 25 years. We are looking for someone with a passion for diabetes to provide specialist support and education for patients and their families and other health care professionals.
The job role requirements include;
Qualified Dietitian (4 year degree, post-graduate diploma or equivalent).
Able to work as lead member of dietetic and multi-professional teams, building relationships with patients/carers, and other staff
Extensive experience of working as a registered dietitian relevant to specialist area
Understands and uses hospital and other systems required to support patient care
