Consultant Cardiologist

The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a Consultant Cardiologist with a specialist interest in congenital heart disease (ACHD) on a full-time basis (10 PAs). The individual should have expertise in congenital heart disease with relevant specialist higher training. There will an additional opportunity for a specialist session for suitably trained candidates.

The job role requirements include;

• Full UK GMC registration and a Licence to Practice

• Comprehensive clinical experience in congenital heart disease

• Evidence of ability to make decisions at consultant level and to manage complex clinical problems

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

• Evidence of significant contribution to successful teamwork and ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team
