Associate Practitioner - Cardio-Respiratory

An opportunity has arisen in the Cardio-Respiratory Department for a qualified Associate Practitioner (or equivalent experience) who would be willing to undertake a further course to expand their knowledge further.

The role involves daily patient contact providing a range of Cardiology and Respiratory diagnostics as well as supporting highly specialist procedures such as Myocardial Perfusion and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography and Exercise tests.

The job role requirements include;

• Educated to GCSE level or Equivalent

• Sound background in cardiology

• Proven experience within exercise testing in a supervised capacity to provide a basis for non medically led exercise testing

• Knowledge of the cardiology department and its medical terminology

• Working knowledge of hospital systems such as Pathfinder
