The post-holder will work as part of the Renal Support Unit for a fixed 8-month secondment to the home therapies team. This is a unique role which requires renal expertise managing a cohort of patients and will be supervised by a Band 7 Renal Clinical Nurse Specialist. The post holder will deliver care to patients with renal conditions by working within one of the specialist renal nursing teams.

The job role requirements include;

  • Demonstrable contribution to advancing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace

  • NMC Registered Child Nurse

  • Evidence of ongoing continued professional development with the specialty linked to demonstrate clinical competencies

  • Excellent paediatric clinical skills and relevant specialist skills and abilities

  • Experience at band 6 or equivalent, including within relevant clinical environment
