Wessex Kidney Centre (WKC), Portsmouth Hospital University NHS Trust (PHUT) are looking to appoint 2 WTE locum consultant nephrologists covering outpatient nephrology and dialysis services in the North Hampshire region and inpatient acute renal care in Portsmouth.

The job role requirements include;

  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice

  • Qualifications equivalent to UK CCT in Renal Medicine

  • Entry on the GMC specialist register via CCT (proposed date must be within 6 months) or CESR

  • Specialist Training in Nephrology to the level of CCT completion

  • Demonstrable clinical and technical skills to provide a consultant service in nephrology and nephrological emergencies

  • Able to demonstrate appropriate level of clinical knowledge
