Renal and Diabetes Specialist Dietitian band 5 to 6 progression post.

This is a great opportunity for a forward thinking dietitian to join the Renal and Diabetes Dietetic Teams at DBTH. They will be an integral member of the supportive, proactive and experienced renal and diabetes dietetic teams and join much wider MDTs who truly value the role of the dietitian in providing specialist high quality dietetic care to patients.

The post holder will be crucial in providing timely specialist dietetic assessment and support for patients with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes and at different stages of chronic kidney disease as well as other renal pathologies.

The job role requirements include;

  • Qualified as a registered dietitian or working towards

  • Good clinical knowledge in general dietetics

  • Understanding of professional ethics and application in practice

  • Willingness to maintain evidence of ongoing CPD

  • Degree in Dietetics or Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics or working towards

  • HCPC UK Registered Dietitian or working towards
